As many of you know, self-employed people can deduct the mileage that you put on your vehicle at a flat rate. For 2021 this was $.56/mi. For 2022 this was increased to $.585/mi. In a rare move, because of rising gas prices, the IRS increased this amount midyear to $.625/mi beginning July 1.
